Other indications for the use of this procedure would be the appearance of blood from a thoracostomy tube placed that returns more than 1000-1500 mL of blood, or ≥200 mL of blood per hour. ومن بين دواعي الاستعمال الأخرى الخاصة بهذا الإجراء هي ظهور دم من أنبوب فغر الصدر الذي يعيد أكثر من 1500 مل من الدم أو ≥ 200 مل من الدم في الساعة.
